Spiritual Awareness
Your spiritual awakening may begin at any time during your life time. It is a process that takes you on a spiritual journey that is personal and unique to you.
You will be drawn to people who will have much to teach you and you will encounter life experiences that are designed to teach you the lessons that your Soul came into this life to learn. Throughout all of this you will also learn to trust in your higher SELF (your Soul) and the Universe.
You will also be seeking out as much information as you can find in order increase your spiritual awareness and your understanding of the Universe. You will soon realise that there is far more to learn about life than you ever knew existed. The learning process is truly never ending, but you can trust that the Universe will guide you to learn all you need to know exactly at the right time. All in perfect timing!
The articles in this section may or may not resonate with you at this time. Much truly depends on your current level of awareness and understanding. If you are drawn to read the articles, it could be that the Universe is trying to draw your attention to something. At the very least, they may give you some ‘food for thought’ that is helpful to you at some point in the future as you continue to learn on your own spiritual journey.
The Universe and Life Forces
This article “The Universe And Life Forces” is intended to help you understand how the Universe, the Planets, the Life Force Energies, Spirit, Soul, and the Human Being all converge together as ONE.
Life is supported on Earth by the Universe and the Planets within our Solar System. The planetary energies support and aid the creation of our lives through our individual Souls. All Beings – Living and in the Spirit World are connected energetically as ONE. At source, no Beings are ever separated.
As humans, the planetary energies affect us on all levels of our being – emotional, mental, physical and spiritual.
Astrological Sun Signs and the Life Forces
Of each of the 12 zodiac signs, the people of the same sign will be living their lives with similar planetary influences, the main life influence being from the ruling planet. For example:- Cancer is ruled by the Moon, so the Moon is a Cancerian’s MAJOR soul influence/force throughout life. The planetary positions change continuously, thus creating a variant of energies that directly affect your life. These energies are subtle, yet, extremely powerful and life altering – profoundly influencing thoughts, communications, moods, emotions and actions.
Examples of how the planetary influences can affect us in our lives:-
How we feel at any time is influenced by the planetary energies. As an example, let’s look at a person who suddenly has a mood swing. We have probably all encountered someone in our lives who could be agreeable one minute and then suddenly become impossible to deal with. This sudden change of mood is an effect caused by a shift in the planetary energies. Because the planets are constantly in transit and changing their positions or alignments in the sky, the energies are constantly changing too. It will therefore be a certain energy that suddenly triggers a person’s mood to change in an abrupt way.
Experiencing a change of mind is also another example that is caused by a sudden shift in energies. For instance, a person may have to make a decision between two options. They may have a strong desire for one of the options, but suddenly at the last minute change their mind. In that last minute, the planetary energies would have influenced the decision of that person by emitting the energy to their Soul, which then simultaneously influenced the person to change their mind. In effect, a person will do exactly what they are energetically influenced to do.
In life, there really is no such thing as right or wrong, however, there are both negative and positive lessons to be learnt in life and the Universe always influences us to make the right choices in order to learn those lessons.

Influences: Love, Relationships, Beauty, Art, Socializing, Harmony and Balance.
MARS is the ruler of both ARIES and SCORPIO (ancient ruler)
Influences: Action, Anger, Aggression, Insomnia.
JUPITER is the ruler of SAGITTARIUS and PISCES (ancient ruler)
Influences: Expansion – wealth may accumulate or body weight could easily be gained. World Travel whether physically or imaginary, Higher Education.
SATURN is the ruler of CAPRICORN
Influences: Restriction, Limitations, Hard Lessons, Authorities, Responsibility.
URANUS is the ruler of AQUARIUS
Influences: Disruption, Unexpected Sudden changes, Surprises, Shocks, Health, Technology.
NEPTUNE is the ruler of PISCES
Influences: Illusion, Delusion, Imagination, Spirituality, Mysticism.
PLUTO is the ruler of SCORPIO
Influences: Death, Transformation, Rebirth, Upheaval, Compulsive/Obsessive Behaviour, Taboos, Regeneration.
Here is an example of how the energies could play out between people in life: if one person is mainly being influenced by Mars and the other person by Uranus, it is highly possible that a conflict could easily arise between them as the planetary energies are both quite fiery. Should the Uranus person deliver a shock to the Mars person, there is certainly the energy there for the Mars person to react in anger and so a conflict could begin. To calm them both down, it may need the energy of a third person who is being influenced by Venus, the planet that promotes balance and harmony. However, if the third person was being influenced by Mars instead of Venus, then the conflict could easily escalate.
The Universe And Life Forces In Relationships
We all want harmonious relationships, yet, this can only truly be achieved if the combination of planetary energies for each person within the relationship are highly compatible. If the energies on the whole are compatible the relationship can be very positive. However, a perfect relationship rarely exists. Many people experience some kind of strife during the course of a relationship.
When two people connect, their energies entwine sparking a reaction which can lead to either a negative or positive experience. If a relationship suffers through arguments or abuse, there will be conflictive energies influencing each person and thus, creating a negative experience. In time, the energies may change for the better as the planets transit and re-align to create a more harmonious influence that helps to improve the relationship, however, alternatively, the planets could re-align in a position where the influences bring the relationship to an end. Whatever the relationship experience is, there are most certainly lessons for each person to learn.
It is TRULY the calling of the Universe that influences ALL that transpires in life and that includes all of your relationships!
Soul and Spirit
Within every human being there is a SOUL. The Soul is a mass of energy which is activated and influenced by the energies from the planets within our Solar system. The Soul is essentially the ‘driving force’ of a human being’s life that makes things happen!
Both the Soul and Spirit are eternal and truly never die because they are ENERGY. When the energy is WITHOUT a human body, it is called a SPIRIT, whereas the energy that is WITHIN the body is called the SOUL. When a Soul leaves the body, it returns to source as SPIRIT.
The Soul and the planets work together in a way that could be compared to how a battery and a battery charger work together. The Soul being the battery, and the planets being the battery charger. The planets in effect, constantly ‘charge’ the Soul with new energies to sustain the human life. The energy that the Soul consistently receives varies according to the planetary transits and energies.
As the Soul is activated, it simultaneously influences the human side of our being. Life as a whole is naturally supported by the Universe, and without the life force energies that the planets deliver to us, we would not be able to exist at all. The Life force energies is truly as important to us as OXYGEN is.
Feeling Your Soul
The Soul lives through many life times. Each time returning to Earth within a human being to learn life lessons and to assist in the world’s evolution. The Soul knows it’s life purpose and destiny before the human birth. Each life is lived with the intention of reaching that destination. The Soul is a natural teacher and also loves to learn. And so as human beings we all have the natural ability to teach and learn from each other. Whether in a supporting role or leading others, we all teach and learn through our daily communications and experiences. Every Soul has a different life experience in each life time, and no two Souls experience exactly the same life. Similar maybe, but never the same. The basic principles for the lessons that are learnt though are exactly the same.
It may be difficult to believe that a Soul exists within the body as it cannot be seen. However, with awareness of your higher self – your SOUL, the Soul can certainly be felt and makes it’s presence known within the body as an URGE. For example – you may have a strong feeling that you need to do something or you may feel that although something looks right that it is actually wrong. In both situations, it is your Soul urging you as it tries to keep you heading in the right direction on your life journey.
Spiritual Awakening
A spiritual awakening is a process in which a person becomes more and more consciously aware of their own spirituality and the spiritual realms.
The process of awakening can begin in many different ways. For some people it may be a life event or a person in their life that sets them on a quest to discover more about their Spirituality and the metaphysical. For others, they may experience supernatural encounters, such as hearing voices, seeing Spirits and Orbs as part of their spiritual awakening process. They are then drawn to explore their spirituality and to focus on their psychic development.
Spiritual Awakening And The Catalyst
Some people do not consciously choose to walk a spiritual pathway. The Universe can however work in mysterious ways to blindly lead an individual onto the pathway. In this instance, it may be a life event or a specific person in an individual’s life who acts as the catalyst. By the time the individual realises what is happening, they are usually aware enough to understand that they are in the process of a spiritual awakening and have a strong desire to continue on the path.
There are people who are born awakened. They grow up fully conscious of the spirit world and are able to communicate with Spirit. Others however, may not experience their spiritual awakening until much later in their lives. Of course, not everyone is destined to awaken in this lifetime, and so it doesn’t happen to everyone.
In the process of awakening, a person begins to see life in a whole new way and realises that the hidden aspects of life were only concealed by their own level of consciousness. Indeed, many A-HA moments certainly arise while walking the spiritual pathway!
Spiritual Awakening And The Journey
Those who are just beginning their spiritual journey may find that they are drawn to learn Spiritual or Reiki Healing, meditation or to read the tarot cards. Gradually as they ascend to a new level of consciousness, they may begin to see auras or be encouraged through their own life experiences to trust their own intuition more. Those at a higher level of consciousness are usually open to Clairvoyance and other Clair abilities, and Mediumship. They may also be a channel for Ascended Masters and Angels.
The information above is given as an example of how the awakening process can work. Your own experience however is unique and could be completely different.
Spiritual Growth Process
Spiritual growth is a process of learning that every Soul is in a human body to experience. This growth process continues through each life time and beyond.
There will be times when the process may seem more intense, particularly when life becomes very challenging. It is however through the most challenging of situations that we learn and grow the most.
Spiritual Growth Process and Isolation
Many people who are awakening may go through a lengthy period of time feeling isolated away from others. They may find they are disconnected completely from family members and friends, which can make for a very lonely life. If this should be your experience, know that you are being called to connect more fully with your HIGHER SELF. In effect, it is a way that the Universe helps you to tune in to your SOUL, SPIRIT and the UNIVERSE, and to learn to TRUST your SELF too. Naturally, this is easier done away from the influence or interference of other people.
Sometimes this experience is referred to as being in a ‘spiritual box’. It is in effect a space where you are protected as you learn and develop your spiritual side. You may experience hardship and other tough challenges in life. You may feel as though the Universe is putting you through the wringer at times, and all of these experiences may seem even worse when you feel alone with no-one to turn to or amongst people who don’t truly understand you. Fortunately, it doesn’t last forever, and eventually you are let out of your box, so to speak, and by that time, your perspective of life will be totally different.
If you do find yourself feeling isolated or less in touch with people that have always been a part of your life, just know that this is just a part of the spiritual growth process, and that sooner or later you will return to the mainstream, where your light will shine brilliantly!
Beliefs
So, you have received your Calling, and found yourself wandering down a pathway in life where you are beginning to explore your Spirituality.
You may be pondering over beliefs that you have held for years and can suddenly see a different view for all that you have believed before. You may be feeling a little excited at the prospect of developing your psychic and healing abilities, however, this is just the beginning of a pathway that can hold many surprising twists and turns and provide experiences that can prove quite testing.
Beliefs and Spiritual Awareness
As you walk your pathway, you may encounter scepticism from people who do not share your beliefs. You may even find that other spiritual people do not share your beliefs. This is because they are at a different level of spiritual awareness.
As you explore your Spirituality and gain a deeper spiritual understanding, your own beliefs will continue to change.
On the spiritual pathway, there is no particular belief system that you have to follow, indeed, the only beliefs you have, are the ones that you choose to believe your SELF through all that you create and learn on your life journey. There are NO rights or wrongs, there are ONLY lessons, so whatever you believe is ALWAYS true for you.
Life Lessons
Planet Earth is like one big classroom where we are ALL set to learn lessons through our life experiences.
Life is a journey, and from the time we are born to the time when we depart our lives on Planet Earth, we connect with people that help create the lessons that we need to learn. Learning can be fun and exciting. However, it isn’t much fun when our lessons involve dealing with people and situations that are challenging and draining.
Life Lessons To Learn
Some lessons may be learnt quickly, whereas others may take years to learn. Learning the art of patience is one such lesson that can take a long time to learn. As a part of the learning process, we will encounter similar situations over and over again until the lesson has been learnt. So if you find yourself repeatedly experiencing similar situations, whether that be in relationships, work or another aspect of your life, the key is to look for the lesson and learn it! You might have to look deep and it still might not be obvious as to what the lesson actually is but eventually all things come to light and that is when you will be fully aware of it.
We, as human beings, may not always enjoy learning our lessons, but we can be sure that our SOULS do! Our Souls actually THRIVE on the learning experience that life presents. Quite simply, we are here on Planet Earth to learn, and that is the REAL meaning of our lives.
Ascension
Ascension is a never ending process of spiritual growth that occurs in continuous cycles. All of humanity experiences the ascension process whether consciously aware of it or not.
Through each ascension cycle, people attain higher levels of consciousness. There are no limits to the level of consciousness that can be attained – even a person who has reached higher levels will continue to learn and grow through new cycles of the ascension process, simply because there is no ending.
Ascension Cycles
Ascension occurs when a Soul has outgrown it’s current life, and is ready to begin anew. When an ascension cycle ends, each individual either experiences a rebirth during their lifetime, or they will ascend back to Source having completed their time on Earth. Groups of Souls/People ascend together when they are all aligned to do so.
In times gone by, people could only ascend through death. Now, however, we can experience ascension through transformation with our Souls remaining in our physical bodies. The transformation affects every part of our being, and the body is put under much stress as we literally experience a living death through the process. Much that is established in our lives is removed in order to clear the way for creating a new reality when rebirth occurs and only that which is meant to be a part of the new reality remains. Following the completion of the transformation, a new life reality begins and so does another ascension cycle.
Ascension and Light Body
Through the ascension process, we are re-awakened to become the true essence of our being. When we ascend we become light bodied, literally feeling light within our whole being, and in effect, it is a return to our NATURAL state of spiritual being – this natural state is achieved when a Human Being is cleansed of all baggage accumulated during their lifetime and restored to it’s purest light form – the Soul.
You might be able to remember that light feeling if you cast your mind back to when you were a young child. As you grew older you felt heavier because of the emotional baggage you collected as you learnt your life lessons. At birth, human beings are all light bodied. This is because our Souls are pure light form at that point and not carrying any baggage.
Freewill or Fate
As we live our lives, we are presented with many choices and decisions to make. At time we may wonder whether it is FREEWILL or FATE that brings about situations that we find ourselves in. While some people believe that we have freewill to make our own choices, other people believe that fate intervenes and makes our decisions for us.
While it may appear that we have freewill to make our own decisions, it could be that our actual choices are pre-determined, whereby our individual Souls already know the choices that will be made. And so in effect, fate is already decided.
The life force energies tend to push us in a certain direction when our choices are presented. And for one reason or another, we are led to make a specific choice. Sometimes, we are influenced to make a particular choice by another person. Other times, an opportunity may just simply disappear, leaving only one way to go. Either way, we can call it fate. Also, consider that our own freewill doesn’t make an opportunity disappear . . . but FATE can.
Any choice that we make always leads to something and whether that choice is what would have been chosen or not – either way, it is fate!
Freewill or Fate and Our Choices
There will be times when it will appear that the ‘wrong’ choice was made. But sometimes we are given 2nd or even 3rd chances, where the same opportunities may appear again further ahead on the pathway. If a decision leads to disappointment or a painful situation, it does not mean that it was wrong. This is because at Soul level, we will always make the RIGHT decision at any particular time in order to learn the RIGHT life lessons, whether positive or negative.
Any choice that we make, not only affects us, but it usually has an effect on at least one other person too, whether we are consciously aware of it or not. Even the seemingly minor decisions that we make in our daily lives (which could be as simple as deciding to change our shoes, skipping a meal, washing our hands, or forgetting something and having to go back for it) may slow an event down, speed things up, place us in the ‘right place’ at the right time, or at worse, even place us in the ‘wrong place’. Basically the decisions we make, whether intentionally or not, keep us in perfect timing with those who we are meant to connect with on our pathways – and of course in perfect timing with our fate.
So is it Freewill or Fate?
At Soul (energetic) level, we are constantly connected and in communion with other Souls to ensure that we meet our fate. Telepathy is one way that we communicate with other souls, but only some people are conscious of the ability. Whatever choice we make in life, it is the RIGHT decision, because from the moment we are born, we all begin to live our fate.
The bottom line is that some of us are actually born to learn some very hard life lessons, while some of us are not, and there are some people in this World who don’t even seem to have a choice of the kind of life they are destined to live – they can only live their fate.
So is it freewill or fate? Whatever we choose to believe, perhaps it is fate!
